CERECLOR S52 is a clear mobile liquid that is free from visible foreign matter. It is a medium chain chlorinated paraffin produced from C14-17 paraffin feedstock. CERECLOR S52 has properties like density between 1.230 to 1.270 g/ml and viscosity between 10 to 20 poise at 25°C that makes it suitable as an additive for applications requiring enhanced properties. As an additive, CERECLOR S52 provides benefits like improved lubrication and energy efficiency due to its good lubricating ability and thermal stability at high temperatures. CERECLOR S 52 is a medium-chain chlorinated paraffins/alkanes, C14-C17 (52% Cl content), and offer following benefits: well established and understood in the Industrial industry, soluble in a range of base oils, readily emulsifiable, compatible with a range of other EP additives, low odour, chemically neutral.
