KELZAN RD

KELZAN RD is an industrial grade xanthan gum that is non-dusting and readily dispersible in water. It has large particle size powder that provides very high solution viscosity under low-shear conditions and low solution viscosity under high-shear conditions, making it non-thixotropic and compatible with high concentrations of electrolytes, salts, and anionic surfactants. It is stable over a wide pH range and to high-shear processes. KELZAN RD's easy handling properties and no lump formation when added to water allows stock solutions of up to 5% to be prepared. It controls the flow of liquids on vertical and inclined surfaces, preventing phase separation in suspensions and emulsions, ensuring products remain free-flowing throughout their shelf-life.
