A specially formulated chlorinated paraffin extreme pressure (EP) additives designed for use in metal working applications. CERECLOR E 45 is a medium-chain chlorinated paraffins/alkanes, C14-C17 (45% Cl content), and offer the following benefits: well established and understood in the Industrial industry, soluble in a range of base oils, readily emulsifiable, compatible with a range of other EP additives, low odour, chemically neutral, excellent thermal stability (enhanced).
